Creating an Advertising Campaign

Hello my dear all!
En esta actividad vais a crear una campaña publicitaria para uno de los productos que aparecen en la lista de más abajo. Trabajaréis en grupos de 3 personas. Cada producto en venta será anunciado por dos grupos diferentes, de esta manera los grupos competirán entre sí para ver cuál es la mejor campaña publicitaria. La clase será la encargada de votar qué producto compraría y por qué, así sabremos qué publicidad es la mejor.

In order to do so, you have to do the following actions:

1. Choose a name for your product.
2. Create a logo.
3. Invent a creative slogan.
4. Record a TV advert.
5. Record a Radio advert.
6. Draw posters.
7. Prepare pamphlets / catalogues / flyers
8. Give promotional items (such as pens, key rings, etc.)

List of products:

1. Perfume for men
2. Any soft drink
3. Trainers
4. Youth car
5. Women's shampoo

Exercise 8 - 4 ESO A + B

YOU ARE TEACHERS NOW!

Imagine you are a teacher and your students are Acholi (members of an African tribe). They only speak in English and your task is to explain the Spanish culture.

Today, you have to explain the Spanish Carnival. You can talk about its origin, when and why it is celebrated, etc. You can also show them the most common costume... or even the weirdest costumes!

There are not prepared materials in the school, so you have to search the information on your own.

INSTRUCTIONS: Work in groups of 3 people and prepare a class in English about the Spanish Carnival. Your oral exposition will be on Friday, 18th. You must prepare a Powerpoint to support your explanation.

Visit the link below and do the following activities in a WORD DOCUMENT:

1. Go to the ENGLISHPAGE and make a SUMMARY about the information you find there. (You can do it in Spanish).
2. Click on the Youtube link and listen to the song "I still haven't found what I'm looking for", by U2. WRITE ALL THE PRESENT PERFECT SENTENCES YOU HEAR.
3. Play the games on links 3 and 4. PRINT SCREEN AND COPY THE IMAGE TO THE WORD DOCUMENT when you finish. (Impr. pan)

Weekly exercise - Speaking

Dear all,
As I've already commented in class, from now on you will have to record yourselves to practice your Speaking.
How will you do that?

2. Use an e-mail account to register the group.
3. Start with the Tutorial and learn how to the website works.

Remember you MUST do this exercise at least ONCE A WEEK!!!
